Portraits
2016 – ongoing, vector art

Portraiture isn’t just about making a recognisable image of an individual’s physical features but also about saying something about their context, mood, personality, activities or dreams.
Through the portrait medium, one can also critique societal and political issues. A portrait can be a political statement.
In this ongoing project, where I depict, friends, family or strangers I try to apply this differently for each personality.
Taking the liberty of changing the clothes, backgrounds and accessories, each portrait tells its story in more or less subtle ways.
